University of Richmond's Cybersecurity Bootcamp named among 19 best by Course Report
The University of Richmond’s Cybersecurity Bootcamp was named by Course Report among the 19 best cybersecurity bootcamps currently offered. Course Report is a leading authority on bootcamps and has been tracking the cybersecurity bootcamp industry since 2013.
This is the third consecutive year the School’s Cybersecurity Bootcamp has been named among top cybersecurity bootcamps.
To be considered for the list of top cybersecurity bootcamps, the program met the following criteria:
- Offer an immersive cyber security program. For this list, immersive meant 20+ hours of class time per week for at least 8 weeks.
- Be instructor or mentor led
- Follow curriculum that prepares students for CISSP, Security+, and GCIH exams
- Provide career assistance
- Have graduated at least one cohort of students and be rated at least four stars by alumni
Other attributes valued by Course Report when choosing the top bootcamps were a selective application process, reputable instructors and mentors, a commitment to diversity, transparent student outcomes, and scholarships or innovative payment plans.
Our Cybersecurity Bootcamp is offered in collaboration with edX. The 24-week program takes a multidisciplinary approach to helping students attain proficiency in IT, networking and modern information security. The bootcamp is offered entirely online.
