
Payments & Financing
Payment for most professional education and lifelong learning classes and many programs of study is due at the time of registration. Payment cannot be made to the instructor — all payments must be submitted online or by check or credit card in the SPCS office.

Credit card payments may be submitted by faxing or mailing the paper registration form or by calling the Professional Education Registration Coordinator using the main office number: (804) 289-8133.
Climb Credit
The School of Professional & Continuing Studies is pleased to provide the option to finance several in-demand professional education programs through Climb Credit. The following professional certificate programs are eligible for Climb Credit financing:
- Beer Brewer Professional Certificate (all locations)
- GIS Professional Certificate (Fundamentals & Advanced)
- Grassroots Lobbying & Advocacy Professional Certificate
- Home-Based Business Boot Camp
- Interior Decorating Professional Certificate
- Permaculture Design Certificate
- Political Campaign Management Professional Certificate
- SHRM Learning System
Workforce Development and Vocational Rehabilitation
The University of Richmond will work with many vocational rehabilitation or workforce development funding that may be available from state or business employers.
The University of Richmond may also accept other scholarships from outside organizations.
Alumni Discounts
University of Richmond alumni who have earned a certificate, associate degree, baccalaureate degree, post-baccalaureate certificate, graduate certificate, master’s degree or juris doctorate are eligible for a 25% discount on one course per semester as listed in the Think Again catalog, with the exception of certificate programs, travel programs, conferences, membership fees, and certain classes involving partnerships and application fees. Additional eligible programs include the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and the Institute on Philanthropy.
Alumni who wish to utilize this discount must be registered by SPCS staff and should contact the School of Professional & Continuing Studies (804-287-6676) for further instructions.
