Graduate Certificates

We offer several Graduate Certificates (GC) as post-bachelor’s and post-master’s graduate credentials. Our graduate certificates require 18-22 semester hours. No transfer coursework is allowed into Graduate Certificates.

Our GC in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies requires a master’s degree for admission. It’s ideal for professional educators with master’s degrees in any field seeking to become school leaders. Requires 22 semester hours.

Our GC in Human Resource Management requires a bachelor’s degree or higher for admission. It’s ideal for professionals preparing for a career switch to the HR field and for HR professionals with master’s degrees in other fields to increase expertise in HR management. Requires 18 semester hours.

Our GC in Nonprofit Studies requires a bachelor’s degree or higher for admission. It’s ideal for professionals seeking to work in nonprofit or nongovernmental organizations, and for nonprofit professionals seeking to increase their expertise in nonprofit management and development. Requires 18 semester hours.

  • Educational Leadership & Policy Studies

    GC-ELPS Program of Study

    An earned graduate degree is required for admission.

    Total: 22 semester hours

    Core

    15 semester hours. All candidates must complete the following courses. Each course includes a 30-hour practicum.

    • EDUC 605U School Law and Policy for Ethical Leadership

    Field Experience

    7 semester hours. Includes 170 hour practicum hours.

    Capstone Experience

    All candidates must complete a Capstone Assignment.
