We’re the School of Professional & Continuing Studies (SPCS), the continuing and professional education unit of the University of Richmond (UR). UR is a private, regionally accredited liberal arts school with stellar national reputation and rankings. SPCS shares the resources of the University throughout the Richmond community with tuition costs that are comparable to state school tuition.
We partner with the Virginia Association of Fundraising Executives (VAFRE) to meet the learning needs of Richmond’s fundraising professionals. We support VAFRE as a sponsor, attending events regularly and providing nonprofit and higher-education fundraising expertise.
Nonprofit Learning and Training at UR
At SPCS, our Institute on Philanthropy (IOP) provides intensive training in Grant Writing, Fund Development and Nonprofit Leadership.
