Adjunct Faculty Positions

The School of Professional & Continuing Studies (SPCS) invites interested and qualified candidates for adjunct teaching positions in our degree programs to submit a cover letter of interest, current résumé or curriculum vitae, and a University of Richmond application.

Credit-earning courses are offered through SPCS and UR Summer School. Assignments are made each summer for the following academic year, although changes to this schedule may occur at any time.

Teach Professional Education Courses

If you are interested in teaching a professional education course please contact a program manager to discuss your proposal. Our students are always looking for ways to expand their skill sets and pursue self-enrichment. Becoming a professional education instructor is a rewarding way to help them achieve their goals while sharing your knowledge.

Lead in the Osher Institute

If you are interested in leading a course in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, visit the Volunteer for Osher page to review requirements and complete the application. The Osher Institute is a thriving community of learners over age 50 who are interested in unique perspectives and expertise from across the academic, social, political and economic spectrum. Osher Institute course leaders are not paid for leading courses.
