We’re the School of Professional & Continuing Studies (SPCS), the continuing and professional education unit of the University of Richmond (UR). UR is a private, regionally accredited liberal arts school with stellar national reputation and rankings. SPCS shares the resources of the University throughout the Richmond community with tuition costs that are comparable to state school tuition.
We partner with the Commonwealth of Virginia Paralegal Association (CVPA) to meet the learning needs of Richmond’s paralegal professionals. We support CVPA as a sponsor, and we offer paralegal networking opportunities that connect Richmond alums and students with legal and paralegal professionals.
Paralegal Education at UR
Our Paralegal Professional Certificate is a comprehensive, career-focused set of credentials designed for individuals seeking to enter the legal profession or strengthen their existing legal support skills. The program provides rigorous training in paralegal fundamentals, legal research, legal writing, and litigation, followed by the opportunity to earn an Advanced Certificate at no additional cost.
