Provisional Licensure Support (PLuS)

In response to the documented need to support pre-service and in-service teachers who take nontraditional and provisional pathways toward teacher licensure, our Provisional Licensure Support (PLuS) program offers the School-based Teacher Education Partnership (STEP) for current Master of Teaching students and the Teacher Licensure Completion (TLC) program for provisionally licensed teachers.

These programs provide vital coaching support at the pre-service, in-service, and first-year teaching stages, ensuring that provisional and early career educators receive the ongoing development and non-evaluative feedback needed to ensure long-term success in the field. PLuS seeks to ensure that the most vulnerable students in our region have access to well trained, quality, and experienced teachers.
