UR Au Pair

UR Au Pair at the University of Richmond School of Professional & Continuing Studies (SPCS) is a program designed to help international au pairs fulfill their required annual educational credits while experiencing the rich cultural traditions of the United States.

At SPCS, we’ve been designing classes specifically for au pairs from around the world for over a decade. Our programs offer rewarding sessions and include cultural and historical experiences from around the U.S.

We offer affordable and flexible online educational options that can help you fulfill all of your au pair educational credits — be sure to confirm with your agency the requirements for your au pair cluster.

Cultural Perspectives

This online course includes research, reading, and writing assignments with a focus on special topics and American culture. It is designed to increase your comprehension and communication skills. Students have 3 weeks to complete the lessons. Choose from one of these topics: Leadership Fundamentals, Artist Chuck Close, or Designer Coco Chanel. Course offers 1, 2, or 3 au pair credits.

Enrichment & Professional Education

You may also wish to enroll in an online professional development class or pursue a certificate in interior decorating or personal fitness training

Note: Online classes provided by our educational partners (e.g., LERN, ed2go, MindEdge) may not be authorized by some au pair agencies.
