Becca Shelton

Becca earned her Bachelor of Science from Longwood University and her Master of Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. Becca has worked at the University of Richmond since 2018 and currently serves as an Assistant Director on the Career Advising team. In this role, she provides one-on-one career guidance and career programming to all University of Richmond alumni and graduate students. Prior to her joining the team at UR, she worked at several other Virginia institutions providing career guidance to undergraduate students.
Outside of work, Becca enjoys time with her family, including her rambunctious twin children. When not wondering why she didn’t nap more in her 20s, Becca is involved with her home community of Farmville, VA volunteering with local civic organizations, including the Parents Advisory Council at the Andy Taylor Center, the Longwood Alumni Board, and the Junior Chamber of Commerce.
