At the School of Professional & Continuing Studies, we offer graduate degrees and post-bachelor’s certificates at a fraction of the cost of UR’s residential undergraduate degrees, and Richmond grads from all schools are eligible for our 25% alumni discount on academic programs of study.
You don’t have to leave Richmond to continue your academic pursuits or to add specialized credentials. We’re here to enable you to continue your Richmond experience into professional and post-bachelor’s academic studies.
Post-Bachelor’s Tuition at SPCS
We charge tuition by the enrolled semester hour. No add-on fees, just your books and annual parking pass. And UR alums are eligible for the 25% Spider Spirit Alumni Discount. The result is a Richmond post-bachelor’s education at substantially lower cost through SPCS.

Earn a UR Master’s Degree
Admission to our master’s degree programs does not require GRE or GMAT test scores. You’ll be asked to submit transcripts from all college coursework along with a personal statement. Some programs have additional admissions requirements.
Add Skills with a Graduate Certificate
We offer graduate certificates that stand alone as professional development opportunities or that can be applied to our master’s degrees in the same field.

Earn a Post-Bachelor’s Certificate
Our post-bachelor’s certificates provide add-on skills to your bachelor’s degree, enabling cross-training in an affiliated field. Or prepare yourself for graduate admission into a law or information systems program. Our data and IT-related certificates are offered entirely online for added convenience.
Online Professional Credentials
As the professional and continuing education unit of the University of Richmond, we offer a number of online professional certificates that meet the career needs of working professionals. While they don’t earn college credits or academic credentials, the professional certificates earned by completing these programs are valued in the workplace.
