We’ve partnered with the Digital Marketing Institute, the global standard in digital marketing certification, to provide online learning and the certification exam. When you complete the University of Richmond’s Digital Marketing Professional program, you will become dually certified with the AMA and DMI with two credentials: PCM® in Digital Marketing and Certified Digital Marketing Professional from DMI.
Our program teaches the fundamentals of digital marketing and provides an understanding of the key digital specializations, from mobile and social media marketing to email, YouTube & display advertising, PPC and SEO. Through dynamic video presentations and practical learning activities (including tutorials and exercises), you will acquire a hands-on learning experience that will enable you to demonstrate a strong foundation in digital marketing, covering the main concepts, techniques, and skills required in order to develop, plan, and implement an effective digital marketing strategy.

Time Commitment
The program of study consists of 30 hours of self-paced online video instruction and requires an additional 31 hours of self-paced coursework.

Certification
After completing coursework, you’ll be prepared to sit for the certification exam. After successfully completing the 3-hour computer-based exam, you’ll receive both the DMI CDMP and AMA CMP in Digital Marketing credentials.
We offer this program in partnership with DMI. Following registration and payment, you’ll receive online enrollment information directly from DMI.

This module covers professional digital & technical skills that are key to success for digital marketers.

Module 6. Email Marketing
This module introduces key email marketing tools and techniques along with list and design best practices.

Module 8. Website Optimization and Ecommerce
This module introduces user-centered website design and the purpose of website optimization.

Module 9. Analytics with Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
This module covers setting website goals to analyze performance and conversions.
