Tom Parfitt found his passion for adult education’s transformative power while teaching at the Center for Culinary Arts at the School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SPCS). After 15 years of working as a chef and pastry chef, Tom returned to school to earn both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees through SPCS. Inspired by the profound impact education had on his career and personal growth, he dedicated himself to providing similar opportunities for others. Now serving as the Director of Professional Education at SPCS, Tom leads a team of program managers, coordinators, and subject matter experts to deliver accessible, relevant programs that empower individuals to achieve their professional and personal aspirations.
