Eunkyung Ahn is a South Korean educator and Restorative Justice (RJ) specialist who has been part of the movement to integrate restorative justice practices in the South Korean educational system. She obtained her MA in Conflict Transformation from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, in 2019. Since then, she has worked as one of the RJ practitioners for the Seoul Metropolitan and Gyeonggi Province police using restorative justice methods to find greater truth and reconciliation in the criminal justice process. In 2022, she co-founded “The Forest of Light,” a peace-building NGO based in South Korea helping address educational challenges. She is dedicated to spreading the philosophy of Circle processes via spirituality, the body, art, and other expressive practices to transform communities into becoming more equitable and just.
