Dana R. Jackson

Profile
Dr. Dana Jackson serves as Assistant Professor of Education and Director of Clinical Practice in the School of Professional & Continuing Studies. She teaches graduate and undergraduate classes, serves as director of the Center for Leadership in Education (CLE) and coordinator of Next Generation Leadership Academy through CLE, and partners with many school divisions throughout the region to promote and facilitate leadership development in preK-12 schools.
Prior to her role in higher education, Jackson served Hanover County Public Schools as a classroom teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Her professional experience and interests include: educational leadership, collaboration, data analysis for instructional decision making, equity, and organizational development. She also greatly enjoys reading for pleasure and spending time with her family.
