UR Bootcamps
We partner with high-quality online education providers to offer technology-related bootcamp learning programs. We’re pleased to announce that we’ve contracted with Flatiron School to offer the following bootcamps:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Data Science
- Game Design
- Game Programming
- Product Design
- Software Development
We anticipate opening registration for these programs during the summer, and we hope to launch learning experiences in early fall 2025. This timeframe remains tentative, but we want you to know that we’re working on developing these opportunities for Richmond’s IT professionals.
We’re also working on offering a cybersecurity bootcamp experience. We’ll be able to announce that partner program soon.
Bootcamps and More
With Flatiron School, we’ll be offering more than the traditional bootcamp experience. Students will be able to enroll in individual modules that comprise the bootcamp curriculum, or to enroll in the entire bootcamp course. Doing so enables students to complete the bootcamp curriculum over time and to pay for the experience module by module.
Each bootcamp is divided into Essentials, Foundations, and Capstone modules, with each module comprising several courses. Students can enroll in individual modules, or they can enroll in the full bootcamp experience.
