On Wednesday, May 3, we celebrated academic achievements of our graduating students during SPCS Night. And on Saturday, May 6, we celebrated our graduating students during Commencement Exercises.

Winston Mugford, graduating with a Master of Teaching from the University of Richmond School of Professional & Continuing Studies, was selected by faculty to present remarks on behalf of graduating SPCS students at 2023 Commencement Exercises on May 6, 2023.
Abbi Haggerty, adjunct assistant professor of nonprofit management and Executive Director of Richmond Performing Arts Alliance, was nominated by students to receive the Itzkowitz Family Distinguished Adjunct Faculty Award at the School of Professional & Continuing Studies 2023 Commencement Exercises on May 6, 2023.
Deon Price, C’14, a 2014 graduate of the University of Richmond School of Professional & Continuing Studies, was nominated by members of the SPCS Alumni Association board of directors to receive the Gibb Family Distinguished Alumni Award at SPCS 2023 Commencement Exercises on May 6, 2023.
Winston Mugford is graduating with a Master of Teaching (MT) degree. He’s been selected as the Student Speaker at SPCS 2023 Commencement Exercises.

Molly Morgan, ’22, is graduating with a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum & Instruction. She’s been selected as the 2023 recipient of the James W. Lanham Book Award for Excellence in Curriculum and Instruction.
Rebecca Byrd Musser is graduating with a Master of Nonprofit Studies (MNS) degree. She’s one of two students in the nonprofit studies program graduating with distinction in 2023.
