    As an Advisor in Academic & Student Services at SPCS, Mary Catherine provides guidance to students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs. Previous experience at UR includes over eighteen years of program implementation including her position as Senior Program Manager for professional development, personal enrichment, and the Institute on Philanthropy. She designed S.T.E.P.S. to Success, the first college test prep series at SPCS, and instructs Spanish classes for a variety of Richmond nonprofits, first responder, and public service organizations.

    Additional experience includes work in international trade, business, and marketing, with travel and studies in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, and Venezuela. Mary Catherine has a B.A. from JMU in International Affairs and Spanish, a Certificate in Applied Studies (Paralegal) from UR, and professional certificates including: Supervising and Leadership, Customer Service, and Teaching Adults.
