  • Profile

Daryl Jackson, C’16, brings a solid background in Information Technology to SPCS. He gained his IT roots in various help desk roles in various industries throughout the Greater Richmond and Greater Hampton roads areas. In 2010 he decided to enroll in Reynolds Community College to pursue his A.A.S. degree, while continuing to work in support roles. After successful completion, he then enrolled at the University of Richmond SPCS to pursue his BSPS in IT Management. At UR, he gained essential knowledge and expertise that would give him the tools to expand his professional acumen. Immediately after graduating from UR in 2016, Jackson was recruited and hired by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond where he continues to work today.

Since his time at UR, Jackson has earned his Master of Science in IT Management from the VCU School of Business. In addition to his current adjunct duties at the University of Richmond, he serves as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at Reynolds Community College teaching IT courses for the school of Business and Applied Science. He is currently pursuing his Post Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Management from the University of Virginia and is expected to complete his studies in the Spring of 2021. His goal since completing college has been to give back to his alma maters and to be an inspiration to adult students willing to go back to school and earn what they once thought was unobtainable.
