Introduction to Technical Writing

This course will teach you the foundational principles of copyediting, the golden rules of proofreading, and what professional editors actually do and how you can do it, too.

Technical Writing Suite

Level: Intermediate
Learning Mode: Online, instructor-led

Learn the fundamentals of technical writing. Key topics include formatting, publishing, and writing techniques. This suite will teach you interviewing skills, desktop publishing, and how to translate complex ideas. Includes introduction and intermediate Microsoft Word and fundamentals of technical writing classes.

Certified Technical Writer

Level: Advanced
Learning Mode: Online, self-paced

In the course, you will explore the framework in which technical writing exists, the conventions it follows, and the essential elements all technical writing must have. The course also includes a lesson on preparing for the Certified Professional Technical Communicator (CPTC) exam offered by the Society for Technical Communication (STC).
