The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction is a flexible, practice‑focused graduate program for K–12 teachers, instructional leaders, and learning professionals in higher education, corporate, and nonprofit settings who want classroom‑ready skills, curriculum design expertise, and a strong professional network.
Choose from focus areas in either general curriculum or a specialized content area to support your professional goals, including add-on endorsements for licensed educators.
Program of Study
The M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction requires successful completion of 30 semester hours of graduate coursework. You’ll take 6 required core courses (18 semester hours), 2 electives (6 semester hours), and 2 research courses (6 semester hours). The program also requires a Capstone Project to be completed during the final semester.
You’ll have the option to use your two elective courses (6 semester hours) to select an area of specialization to support endorsement pathways and professional goals from the following areas:
