New Student Orientation

If you are a new or current student who would like to know more about the many resources available to you on campus, attending New Student Orientation will make it much easier to find your way.

Orientation is generally scheduled the week prior to the start of the Fall and Spring semesters, in mid-August and early January.

Feel free to ask questions about programs of study, University campus matters and School-related issues. Representatives from a number of offices and departments attend the orientation session to answer questions and provide information.

UR ID Card

Prior to Orientation, please submit a profile photo to the One Card office. Photos will be used to create your University of Richmond One Card ID. Submitting your photo ahead of time will enable you to collect your UR ID at orientation using a photo ID as proof of identity.
