What is your program of study?

Master of Liberal Arts with a concentration in Interdisciplinary Studies

What motivated you to continue your education?

My drive for a well-rounded education has motivated me to continue my education at the University of Richmond. With a background in finance and data analytics, I wanted to expand my knowledge with the skill sets for life beyond college. Many employers are looking for a student who can communicate, lead, and evaluate at a high level. With the practice and development in the Masters of Liberal Arts, I feel as if this program allows me to grow in all of those areas.

Have you discovered any new skills or strengths in yourself throughout your SPCS journey?

Throughout my SPCS journey, I have learned how to manage diversity in organizations, lead cooperative teams, adapt to the new age of AI, and communicate in professional settings.

How do you balance school with other commitments?

I have been able to manage school with collegiate athletics through daily time management and discipline. There are a lot of distractions that we face as students in college but being able to manage your time wisely and stay regimented in your work is a recipe for success.

What's next for you?

After college, I hope to take my education from the University of Richmond into the world of finance.

What do you love most about SPCS?

What I love most about SPCS is how we incorporate real-world scenarios into the classroom every day. Studying and analyzing current events in real time provides us with an education that is both relevant and adaptable.
