Osher Institute treats volunteers to ice cream social

For the second year, the UR Osher Lifelong Learning Institute hosted an ice cream social for all of its many volunteers. Osher’s volunteers are the heart and soul of the Osher Institute.

Volunteers teach, serve on committees, lead special interest groups, host tours and museum visits, work in the UR Bookstore, assist with Alumni Weekend and Homecoming, host international students, mentor MBA students, work local farmers markets, assist in Osher classes, and coordinate our many social events.

All give freely of their time and expertise to the Osher Institute and the greater University, and this event is one way that the Osher Institute say’s thank you for all that they do.
