Outstanding students, faculty & alumni honored during annual SPCS Night awards ceremony

May 8, 2025

SPCS Commencement

The School of Professional and Continuing Studies continued its tradition of honoring excellence among students, faculty and alumni during its annual SPCS Night celebration on May 7, 2025. The celebration was held at the Modlin Center for the Arts with a reception that followed.

In a departure from tradition, adjunct faculty award recipients were also recognized during the ceremony. The Spring 2025 faculty meeting in January where such awards are normally announced could not be held in person because January’s water crisis closed campus buildings. As a result, service awards, faculty emeritus status and the Innovations in Teacher award were announced during SPCS Night.

The School bestowed the following awards during the ceremony.
