The Joan Oates Institute for Partners in the Arts

Registration is now open for the 21st annual Institute to be held on the campus of the University of Richmond June 22-26, 2015.

This year we will be joined by special guest instructor Lynda Barry for workshops and a keynote presentation that is open to the public.

The Joan Oates Institute (JOI) for Partners in the Arts prepares individual or teams of PreK-12 teachers of all subject areas to develop lesson and unit plans for integrating the arts into their classrooms.

Spend the week finding (or honing) your creativity and leave with creative and collaborative practices for use in your classroom and across content areas. JOI 2015 is designed for educators from all grade levels and content areas.
