Adjunct Faculty Positions

The School of Professional & Continuing Studies invites interested and qualified candidates for adjunct teaching positions in our degree programs to submit a cover letter of interest, current résumé or curriculum vitae, and a University of Richmond application to:

Application materials may be faxed directly to the school at (804) 289-8138. However, faxes must be followed by originals sent directly to the address listed above. Faxed materials cannot be used to complete the hiring process.

Credit-earning courses are offered through the Evening School and Summer School. Assignments are made each summer for the following academic year, although changes to this schedule may occur at any time.

As openings arise, program chairs and deans will review applications and contact applicants accordingly. Applicants should not expect to be contacted upon receipt of application materials.

Teach Non-Credit Courses

If you are interested in teaching a non-credit course on any professional development or personal enrichment topic, please fill out the course proposal form. Our students are always looking for ways to expand their skill sets and pursue self-enrichment. Becoming a non-credit instructor is a rewarding way to help them achieve their goals while sharing your knowledge.
