The University of Richmond Advantage

Finish Your Certificate Quickly

Our Information Security certificate is designed to be completed in a year. Courses are offered in the fall, spring, and summer semesters, enabling you to complete the certificate on time.

Most students study part time, taking less than 12 hours of coursework each semester. And part-time enrollment makes you eligible to receive financial aid if qualified.

Value of a Certificate

As a post-bachelor’s academic credential, the Certificate in Information Security shows employers that you’re able to combine hands-on, professional experience with cutting-edge theory.

And because the post-bachelor’s coursework is offered at the undergraduate level, it’s priced at the undergraduate rate. That means you’ll pay much less than for a comparable graduate certificate.

Paying for Your Studies

At SPCS, you’ll only pay $575* per semester hour for your classes. You won’t see any unnecessary additional fees on your bill.

Most students study part-time, so you’ll likely pay no more than $5,175, in a given semester. The entire certificate costs only $12,075, and our program is eligible for financial aid and scholarships.

* Based on 2023-24 tuition rates. Review annual cost of attendance (COA) for SPCS degree-seeking students.
