Rebecca Thompson, GC’14, & Charlee Breeden, GC’17, are among Tomahawk Creek Middle School administrators congratulated for the school’s recognition as a School of Distinction by the Association for Middle Level Education.

On September 10, Thompson and Breeden were recognized by the Chesterfield Public School Board for their leadership role in the school’s recognition. Thompson serves as principal and Breeden as associate principal at Tomahawk Creek.

Tomahawk Creek Middle is the first school in Chesterfield County Public Schools to be recognized as a School of Distinction. It was named as School of Distinction with 16 other schools, including five Virginia schools, by the Association.

Thompson earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies through SPCS in 2014. Breeden earned a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies through SPCS in 2017.
