SPCS Student Week

SPCS Student Week, Spring Edition: March 1-5, 2021

SPCS sets aside a week each year to celebrate its students, participating in our own version of the Association for Nontraditional Students in Higher Education (ANTSHE) Nontraditional Student Week. In this year of the coronavirus pandemic, we’re extending our celebration to the spring as well!

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s academic calendar eliminated Spring Break and designated March 1-5 as a “light week,” encouraging faculty and staff to reduce workloads for the week to ensure physical and mental wellness. As a result, we offer the activities and events of SPCS Student Week as a respite from the hard work you’re doing this semester.

You can participate in SPCS Student Week by attending as many or as few events as you’d like. Most important is that you take a break this week to rejuvenate yourself. You are appreciated and respected for the gifts, talents and tenacity you bring to SPCS.

Several events planned throughout SPCS Student Week are sponsored by SPCS, the SPCS Student Government Association and the SPCS Alumni Association. Others are hosted by other divisions and schools on campus.

We appreciate everything that SPCS students bring to the University of Richmond. We celebrate you!
