
Ma’asehyahu Isra-Ul has over 22 years of successful experience as a history/social science instructor, instructional coach and instructional specialist. As a teacher-centered leader, he firmly believes that when classroom teachers are supported and given the tools to succeed that they will raise the levels of student progress and success in turn. One of his key principles for teacher training is that “More effective teachers truly produce more successful students.”
As a historian, Ma'asehyahu specializes in turn of the twentieth century African American religious movements and produces a bi-weekly podcast which emphasizes marginalized history in traditional K-12 spaces.
