Paying for a Course of Study

Payment for most professional education and lifelong learning classes and many programs of study is due at the time of registration. Payment cannot be made to the instructor — all payments must be submitted online or by check or credit card in the SPCS office.

  1. Choose how much you want to borrow for tuition.
  2. Try different interest rates to see the possible monthly payments (depending on your FICO score).
  3. You will have a total of 42 months to pay back your tuition loan at University of Richmond. This includes 6 months of interest-only payments during your program and 36 months of principal and interest payments after your program.

SPCS programs are Climb Verified. Climb verifies programs with a track record of positive results in the form of graduation, job placement, and salary increases after graduation.

Institute on Philanthropy Scholarship Funds

Scholarship funds may be available for select Institute on Philanthropy courses and tracks. Review scholarship details and requirements by downloading and completing the Scholarship Application.

Workforce Development and Vocational Rehabilitation

The University of Richmond will work with many vocational rehabilitation or workforce development funding that may be available from state or business employers.

The University of Richmond may also accept other scholarships from outside organizations.

Alumni Discounts

University of Richmond alumni who have earned a certificate, associate degree, baccalaureate degree, post-baccalaureate certificate, graduate certificate, master’s degree or juris doctorate are eligible for a 25% discount on one course per semester as listed in the Think Again catalog, with the exception of certificate programs, travel programs, conferences, membership fees, and certain classes involving partnerships and application fees. Additional eligible programs include the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and the Institute on Philanthropy.

Alumni who wish to utilize this discount must be registered by SPCS staff and should contact the School of Professional & Continuing Studies (804-287-6676) for further instructions.

UR Employees - Tuition Remission

Most Think Again programs are eligible for the noncredit tuition remission benefit. Review benefit eligibility and details.

Online partner courses require submitting the tuition remission form prior to enrollment.
