Faculty promotions, awards announced during spring SPCS faculty meeting
SPCS Faculty Update
Faculty in the School of Professional & Continuing Studies celebrated promotion announcements and service awards during the annual awards ceremony held during the spring faculty meeting on January 9, 2025.
As a result of water quality issues in Richmond that affected campus operations, the event was held remotely via Zoom. Awards will be presented to winners during the school’s annual awards ceremony, SPCS Night, on Wednesday, May 7.
Associate Dean Kate Cassada and Dean Wilson presided over the announcement of service awards, followed by Cassada announcing the winner of the SPCS Innovations in Teaching Award, Adjunct Professor of Education Stephen Geyer.
