Take the Next Step with a Master’s Degree
Admission to our master’s degree programs does not require GRE or GMAT test scores. You’ll be asked to submit transcripts from all college coursework along with a personal statement. Some programs have additional admissions requirements.

Add Skills with a Graduate Certificate
We offer graduate certificates that stand alone as professional development opportunities or that can be applied to our master’s degrees in the same field.
Number of classes required to complete certificates
Number of years required to complete most certificates
Number of tests required for graduate certificate admission

Add Skills with Post-Bachelor’s Certificates
Our post-bachelor’s certificates provide add-on skills to your bachelor’s degree, enabling cross-training in an affiliated field. Or prepare yourself for graduate admission into a law or information systems program.
Some Answers to FAQs
Are your programs offered online?
The University of Richmond values and is well respected for its in-person instruction. As a result, although some classes may be completed entirely or partially online, programs require in-person participation for some or all of the program of study.
What are your application deadlines?
We admit students into our graduate programs in three academic terms: fall, spring, and summer. Our application deadlines are July 15 for Fall, November 30 for Spring, and April 15 for Summer. Occassionally we extend our application deadlines.
Do you offer housing for grad students?
Our graduate degrees are designed for part-time learners. While you can complete our degrees by studying full time (3 courses per semester), most of our students take 1 or 2 classes each term. As a result, housing is unavailable for our graduate programs.
