The School of Professional & Continuing Studies at the University of Richmond offers two undergraduate programs of study in Data Analytics.

  • Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies, major in Data Analytics
  • Post-Bachelor’s* Certificate of Applied Studies in Data Analytics

calendar iconThe University of Richmond combines the resources of a private liberal arts college with the scheduling needs of working professionals. Classes are scheduled in the evenings during fall, spring and summer terms on the University of Richmond campus, located conveniently in Richmond’s near West End with ample parking and all-night library access. Late-night assistance with technology, presentations and writing is also available.

Transfer opportunities

transfer iconAgreements with Reynolds Community College, John Tyler Community College and Richard Bland College ensure undergraduate transfer credit into our BS in Professional Studies degree, and we also accept credit from a wide range of regionally accredited higher education institutions. We also accept CLEP, IB and AP credits, we generally accept ACE-evaluated transcript credit, and we also award credit for prior work experience as documented in a portfolio process.

For less than expected

payment iconOur degree programs offer you the personalized attention and small class size of a private university at a price that compares favorably with a public education. Our undergraduate tuition rate is $575* per semester hour, and you can complete your bachelor’s degree with as few as 60 semester hours or earn the certificate with 18 semester hours. Scholarships are available and our programs qualify for financial aid.

*Based on 2023-24 tuition rates. Review annual cost of attendance (COA) for SPCS degree-seeking students.
