Special Summer Opportunities

Summer is a special time at the University of Richmond. Students, faculty and staff alike dress down a little and don their coolest eyewear. Younger students in youth programs and sports camps join summer school students, student athletes, noncredit students and Osher Institute members in laid back learning.

Summer studies at Richmond offer several unique opportunities that are unavailable at other times during the academic year. For educators we add intensive summer institutes in addition to an expanded array of professional development courses. For children and adults alike we offer reading development programs to boost reading skills. And for anyone seeking solutions to sustainability challenges facing the planet we offer our Global Sustainabiity Institute.

And if you’re seeking a “standard” learning experience, we offer that, too, in Summer School, at the Osher Institute, in our degree-earning programs and in our noncredit and online programs.

Come see for yourself what summer at Richmond is all about!
