SPCS Courses
The School of Professional & Continuing Studies (SPCS) offers professional development courses online, incuding initial certification courses for the Home Inspection Certificate program; online graduate courses through the Professional Development for Educators program; and non-credit continuing education courses through the Center for Education and e-Learning.

Online Partners
SPCS partners with a number of online providers in order to increase the flexibility and breadth of our course offerings. Students can take online classes from the comfort of their homes or offices.
- The American Home Inspection Training Institute provides online continuing education for certified home inspectors
- Gatlin Education Services offers courses, programs and certificates
- The Income Tax School offers training toward becoming a tax preparer
- JER Online offers more than 650 certificates and courses in over 45 different subject areas
SPCS Partners Course Policies
Online courses offered by SPCS Partners are not eligible for the University of Richmond alumni discount.
These courses are offered through partnerships with other providers. Therefore, SPCS cancellation and refund policies do not apply. Each provider has its own cancellation policies. Please contact the provider directly for information on course cancellations and refunds.
