Degree-Earning Certificates

Degree-earning certificates are academic credentials that document theoretical learning and practical application in a specified profession or industry.

Our academic certificates are recognized as degree programs at the University of Richmond. Applicants who wish to earn an academic certificate must apply as degree-seeking students and fulfill all requirements for admission.

Students who complete all certificate requirements graduate from a degree-earning program and receive a University of Richmond diploma.

We offer undergraduate and graduate certificates, all of which require at least a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.
