Teaching Certificates

The art and science of teaching in higher education is being radically altered by changes in student demographics, the proliferation of adjuncts in all department across campuses, and the availability of online instructional tools and platforms. The majority of students enrolled in college classes are considered “non-traditional” adult learners, over the age of 25 and taking classes part-time or full-time while working and caring for family members. Online education is the buzzword of the past two decades and continues to flourish as various methods, platforms, and standards are tested and honed.

In response, we offer several professional certificates in higher education teaching: adjunct teaching, blended instruction, online teaching and teaching adults.
