Description
This course describes how to make these key parts of a presentation-- the introduction, support content, and conclusion -- memorable and effective. It also explains the purposes for which different presentation aids are used, as well as how to use visuals appropriately. Finally, this course describes how to rehearse a presentation -- a key step in building confidence for the real thing.

Description
This course describes how to make your delivery successful and memorable. It covers techniques for managing stage fright -- the biggest problem most speakers have. It also explains how to set the right environment for your presentation by making the right choices about room layout and by preparing the room, including the equipment, lighting, and temperature. You'll also find out how to use your voice and body language to deliver your message clearly and effectively. Finally, the course outlines guidelines for handling audience questions -- an area most speakers are also very concerned about.

In this course, you'll learn about the third major component of the strategic account sales (SAS) approach -- presentation. First, you'll learn how to plan and develop a high-impact presentation. You'll then explore ways to successfully deliver the presentation to your client audience. And finally, you'll learn how to follow up your presentation and maintain your sales momentum.

This fast-paced, two-day workshop is equal parts fun and intensity. Learn to deliver your message to a group in the most clear, concise and compelling ways. We create a safe environment for essential peer feedback, video evaluation and coaching. Multiple practice sessions lead up to an action plan for developing positive speaking habits. Learn about proper eye contact, use of pauses, vocal tools (pace/volume/inflection), movement, body language, posture, gestures and facial expressions. Additionally, you will work to conquer fear, get and keep audience attention, and overcome room, sound and logistical obstacles. Whether you are a professor, sales professional, CEO, coach, clergy, someone who leads meetings, or anyone who talks with more than one person at a time, this class is ideal for sharpening your communication skillset.
