Our personal fitness trainer course covers biomechanics, exercise physiology, fitness testing, equipment usage and health assessment and includes an internship component. W.I.T.S., our instructional provider partner, is the only major certifying body in the country providing comprehensive practical training and internship components. And the W.I.T.S. Certified Personal Trainer program has been accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).

Description
The goal of this course is to examine the profound physical and psychological benefits of physical activity and movement. The various types of physical activity and factors of an effective exercise program are described, along with their associated benefits and risks. The course also reviews the mechanics of breathing and two types of movement activities: yoga and Tai Chi Chuan. Finally, the important steps required for initiating a physical activity program are outlined.

Description
Get two nationally certified Personal Trainer Certifications for the price of one! Whether for a career move or for personal knowledge, you can get all the information needed to become a Certified Personal Trainer. Our personal trainer course is a great way to prepare to be a successful nationally Certified Personal Trainer. The course consists of 15 hours of lecture with key topics that include biomechanics, exercise physiology, fitness testing, equipment usage, and health assessment followed by 15 hours of hands-on practical training labs with role-playing drills on exercises, presentation skills, etc. to help you master the position. Level 1 Nationally Certified Personal Trainer: successfully complete the written and practical exams. CPR/AED required. Level 2 Nationally Certified Personal Trainer: successfully complete your Level 1 exams followed by a 30 hour internship that will help connect to local employers.

Description
If you're interested in developing safe and effective exercise programs for older adults, the Personal Training and Group Exercise Training for Older Adults Online Program is for you! The certificate program incorporates standards from the International Curriculum Guidelines for Preparing Physical Activity Instructors of Older Adults, in collaboration with and endorsed by the World Health Organization. This online certificate program is offered in partnership with major colleges, universities, and other accredited education providers. The American College of Sports Medicine's Professional Education Committee certifies that Educational Fitness Solutions, Inc, who works with us to bring you this program, meets the criteria for official ACSM Approved Provider status from (2010-2013). Providership # 672784. This program is approved for 50 Continuing Education Credits through ACSM.
