Visual & Media Arts

From crafts like jewelry making and knitting to the art of composition and film making, our arts courses focus on the skills needed to turn hobbies into art that can be shared with others. Course offerings vary by semester, but range from crafts and knitting to digital photography and drawing.

Our visual arts programs generally include classes in knitting and chain maille jewelry making in addition to drawing and painting. Our media arts programs generally includes classes on film, photography and image enhancement, and digital arts like film and music production.

Our arts classes generally meet once weekly over the course of a few weeks, so there is sufficient time to master each new technique. Unless otherwise noted, art courses are open to participants of any skill level.
